I hope it won't offend anyone to ask. I'd love to see photos of people's HAs and CIs if you want to share them. I find it really interesting to see all the different tech

Yeah, sure! Here's my Phonak and CI! Camera was on the coffeetable and equipment was on my ears!

I have "accessories" for my CI to dress it up but I don't bother. They fall off and you can't see them anyway because of my hair. Besides...they really don't FIT the CI unless you wear the rechargeable extended life battery and since the rechargeable standard battery lasts longer than I do... I seldom get to the extended life battery. I probably should include it in my rotation. :assimilate:

I'm still waiting for my new earmolds to be delivered. They've had to make them three times....hope the third time is the charm. It's not the audiologist's fault, it's the LAB...!

Holy Cow Sherry! How long have you been waiting?! I ordered a pink ear mould for my HA and can't wait to share it lol

Thanks for sharing a pic! What kind of Phonak do you have? I don't know much about CI or I'd ask about that too lol

I used to know what kind of Phonak it is but I have no clue now. I looked for a name on it but don't see one. It has two programs, my everyday one and one I use in noisy places. It's for profound losses.

My CI is by Advance Bionics. I have the Auria processor with Hi-Res sound. I'm excited cuz "ClearSound" is supposed to be released in March or so. Just waiting for the FDA's stamp of approval! It's supposed to be quite something. I'll let you know, lol. Right now my CI sounds horrid and have an appt on the 28th to get it reprogrammed. :bounce:

Maybe all the ducks in my head will stop quacking after that, lol. (that's what my implant sounds like right now)

I've been waiting several weeks.

Definitely let me know about the ClearSound. I also hope that your reprogramming goes well and there are no more ducks in your head. And hopefully you can get your earmoulds soon! I'm hoping to get a call tomorrow saying my ear mould is in! I cannot wait to get my hearing aid going!

I'd be curious to know if it was made by Westone Labs. !@#$% They used to be a top-notch lab but lately ..... :anger3:

Ask your audie which lab made your mold when you pick it up. :think1:

I still haven't gotten my earmold. And my programming appointment is on the 28th. Got messed up on dates. I can't wait for the ducks to quit quacking and hopefully the ear sores to go away.

Well...we both wait again.

I will definitely ask her which lab they did. I know that Mindy the receptionist said they've had to send back HALF their mould orders lately!! :nope2:

That's a lot to return! Sounds like you'll stop hearing ducks hopefully the day my new mould comes in. (Saying prayers it comes in on WEDNESDAY)

We can wait together!
